    Hi everyone
yesterday my vase slipped from my hands and everything was covered with glass shards.:arghh:
so I need a new vase where I can put my tulips, carnations or field flowers that I take home every week

This vase is 21 cm long, 7 cm diameter at the bottom and 6 cm diameter at the top.

is this a vase that has recently been mass-produced with no collection value?

    thanks for looking 20220111_110517_copy_1209x1209.jpg 20220111_104339_copy_1209x1209.jpg 20220111_110259_copy_1209x1209.jpg

It's new-ish and has a pontil mark. Mexican glass? Not worth a fortune, but it looks good and gets the job done.

Thanks evelyb30. I live in Netherlands.
I dont know if we have hier much Mexican glass

These 2 tulips survived yesterdays fall. The top opening is 1 or 2 cm narrowwer than my previous one, so if i put in more it gets tight, i think.

I can't help with the vase, but adding the flowers make it lovely and an eye catcher.

Sometimes we just need to focus on utilitarian value and I think your vase certainly has that. I had two reblooming irises that were just getting ready to have their second blooms when the cold snap hit. Sigh.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    That makes a lovely picture!

    We don't.
Mexican glass can be found in the few specialised Mexican shops we have here, although they tend to focus on food, rather than objects.
Overhere, Mexican glass is not found in regular shops where you would buy vases etc.

In my part of the USA it turns up in thrift stores/charity shops regularly.
