I have two of these beautiful chairs, am curious about their age, the number on the branding, what theyre worth, etc. Yes, Ive researched them but am hoping for personalized info. Thanks!

If you go back, Edit, More Options, check first box (Display all images Full Size), Save Changes, it’s easier for all to see. :)

    small ads of ebay Germany:

for age, doubtful, because Hansen seems to produce re-editions.
"One of the very first models Hans J. Wegner designed especially for Carl Hansen & Søn, the CH24, or Wishbone Chair, has been in continuous production since 1950"

in the sorry states they seem to be, frankly in Europe nobody would buy them for more than 3 to 4 hundred $, because the restoration costs are too high.

another problem, there are Polish copies around.

Welcome, Rebecca. Wonderful chairs, but they have had a life.
Surely those wouldn't have the Carl Hansen tag. There are replicas of many designer chairs, but I have never known that to have a negative influence on the value of the originals.
Condition is another matter, of course, and restoration will have to be done in an appropriate way. Original in good condition is always best.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

@Rebecca Ruby , in your original post you mentioned a number. I don't see the number in your pictures. Was that part of your question answered? I notice that Fid quoted a post that mentioned C24.

it would be CH24, most probably the model no. of Carl Hansen.
for the age of these two: it would be interesting till when they were marked by indentation. most factories changed to adhesive labels in the 50s.

If youlook closely, you can see the number"4" in the image. I think in upper right corner?
