Is this white jade?

    Hello again!
    I'm hoping I can get some help again.
    I did an image search of this bracelet and many similar items labeled white jade popped up. Not sure what the brown spots are.
    How can I determine if it's jade or glass?

    The only way to be sure is to have it tested, IDing a stone from a photo is not reliable.

    Yes. That's my question. How do I test for jade? Or what should I look for to try to ID it?

    You would need to take it to a local, decent jeweler, not a mall jeweler, to be tested. Or if you know anyone with a gem tester they could check it for you.

    Thanks! I had seen videos of people testing for precious or semi precious stones on a gem tester but didn't realize Jade was on there...nice!:)

    Some do, some don't, some just test for diamonds. I have one that tests from glass through diamonds, it's fun to bring with me when I visit my sisters. We test everyone's jewelry :)
