Lane Dining Table...authentic?

Hello to the group, thank you for welcoming me to the community!

I am on the hunt for an MCM Lane Dining table and came across something which may be too good to be true (online) at a thrift store. This table does have a lane sticker attached, but the shop owner says she does not see a Lane stamp on the bottom of the table. Also, the serial number does not seem to make sense as a date when I read it backwards, as I understand is the correct way to read a Lane serial number?

This shop is located on the other side of the state, which would be a drive of several hours for me, and I'm trying to determine whether I should make the trip.

I am a newbie at all of this, so appreciate any expertise and assistance that you all can provide. Thank you!

Backwards is the right way. I cannot see the serial number clearly. Would you type it out please?

Did the shop owner give you any assurance that it's really Lane?

Yes, so backwards doesn't make sense:

No, I don't think she really knows since this is a thrift store and not an antiques or furniture store.

Thanks for your help, Bakersgma! I guess I was wondering if there is ever a circumstance in which the Lane serial number doesn't necessarily need to be backwards and could still be authentic.

Looks like a quality MCM table. What a cool design! If not Lane, some other designer, but with that label and the overall appearance, I'd have to guess Lane. Also I've seen other Lane tables with that sort of double layered look with a secondary piece on the top. Hard to imagine someone would find such a cool table in the first place, then stick the LANE sticker on it to mislead, only to donate it to a thrift. In my town this would last fewer than 5 minutes in a thrift store, Lane or not. It has a fantastic look.

A bit tricky since it is so far away, though!

Rhythm is definitely one of the more popular Lane collections with its obvious Danish Modern influences. In very good condition, with one or two leaves, this dining table would probably go for around $400-$500 here in Texas. In decent condition with no leaf, more like $150-$200.
