No fun at all for those not attending & needing a room for the week plus, hotel owners gouge the hell out of you even if a regular corporate client. This was "their" week to make hay and by God, That's what we are doing today!

 

Well, definitely not in that club

I barely meet the requirements for AmericasMart Atlanta. I'm registered, just have never been.
I was talking to a friend of mine that owns several antique stores and he said he hates it. Said it's always packed and full of entitled rude old women rolleyes, but he had his foot run over by a cart while smashed up against a display, and instead of the woman turning around to say sorry, she ripped the other half of the cart over his foot, but then again, I know other people that go and love it, so maybe he's just jaded

Still, I want to look, just to say I have heen there, may just have to learn that lesson myself

 

And I was going to say Grand Rapids, Michigan again due to Steelcase (founded in 1912 as the Metal Office Furniture Company).

 

If memory serves me correctly, Art Metal was founded in 1903 or 1907.

 

I checked the date and found 1888, Art Metal Construction Company, so I was off by a few years, 16 to be exact. I lived there for a spell.
