Romulus & Remus Figurine

Not resin. Not quite like plaster but could be. It does kind of look like carved stone but some areas look like molded. There is also a makers mark.

    It's reconstituted marble. These are common tourist souvenirs.

    1960s/1970s from the look of it. A little souvenir from Rome. (And probably still being sold.) Yep. Here's the Made in China version.

    It looks like the material is alabaster. If that is the case then it almost certainly was carved in the city of Volterra, south of Florence.
