How old is this furniture?

    I got this (and 2 matching chairs) from a military couple who had gotten is from an old French man while living in Germany. The man told them that it was 100 years old but I'm not sure how accurate he was trying to be. What style is this furniture and how old could it be? It's a beautiful set but and it's in amazing condition. How was this type of detail achieved? Thanks in advance!!

    I would call it Rococo Revival with all those C scrolls and ruffles. European, which is out of my realm of knowledge.

    To me it appears to have some age... not brand new. There appears to be some wear on the finish. But I can't tell how old
