I found this chair at a thrift store for $3. I'd love to find out the maker, so I can search for a matching one. Any info is appreciated! 20220101_131935.jpg 20220101_132037.jpg

I get a 1970s vibe. Looks well made. Have you looked on the bottom for any markings? Awesome for $3.

Yes, I'd think 1970s too. A pastiche revival den chair originally covered in black naugahyde. Looks comfortable.

70s, Spanish revival. Will be vey hard to find a match without a label. Most people will view this as just used furniture and not worthy of posting.

No markings that I can find on the piece.

It is similar in form to the older Morris chairs. I have two of those that are mis-matched but with matching upholstery, no one really notices the differences. You could try Google Imaging for similar forms for sale. W08%20MORRIS%20AFT%2034.jpg

That's a good idea. Similars with matching upholstery.

Really cool chair! Did it come with a back cushion? I googled 1970s Spanish Revival Chair and got a lot of hits. There were several chairs that did not match but would complement your chair very well. Unfortunately, they were in the $2K range. I think as stated above that a companion chair, not a matching one, would be easier to find and probably less expensive as well. Personally, I like that idea of close but no cigar, don't care for too much matching but matching the upholstery would be awesome.

I can see this chair all fixed up with a partner chair in a vaulted white room with dark beams and other fun things. Good luck in your search!

Oh Waah!! You have to leave that house, too bad. Didn't you say you are moving to Virginia? I'm sure there's a lovely house awaiting you there.

Thank you Ola. Yes, we found a nice house, at least I think it is, I have not seen it in person yet. :nailbiting: Here are the video links to it. A blank slate for me to un-Muggle! The best part is the Shenandoah River runs through the back of the property. Still a heartbreak though, to leave my family and long-time home behind. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4SgXldw8LdxcoRpyt9gTOTmM0-iO9GDT
