    Always love to hear old-timey radio recordings, from the very beginning to 60s.

    I've recently continued working on my Webster Chicago wire recorder some more. It needed several mechanical adjustments to the spool tension, bailer height and spool height. Now it works a treat and I am finally able to play -most- reels without messing them up.

    Enjoy a 1950 recording of a Jack Benny show: New Year's Eve digitized by yours truely directly from the magnetic head:

    Good to see someone still restoring. That last few I offered for sale had little interest.
