If you can’t do it by hand, take it to a jeweler, I know a few jewelers that wouldn’t even charge to adjust it.
Nice bracelet by the way! Not saying this is by Los Costillo or Los Ballesteros but they both did similar barrel bracelets.

Everyone uses pliers on silver items especially the people who make and repair them. A couple layers of masking tape on the jaws or card stock on the jaws works fine.

The thing is, Kimbert said she wasn't really handy. So I think pliers wouldn't be a good idea in her case, especially since she has never used them on silver.;)

oh very nice, yes those all just just like mine! Too bad mine isn't signed by any maker, would be nice to know! Thanks for the suggestion, that sounds worth a try- the tape seems to be doing the trick but of course a more permanent adjustment would be best

If the tape works, I say stick (ahem) with the tape. It's not permanent and can't damage the bracelet. You could also wrap it with a piece of band-aid if necessary. Band-aids make great ring sizers!

Thanks for the suggestion! After trying tape I think something like that would be too thick though, even just two layers of thin tape was almost too much! That would be preferable though if it did fit, tape wears down/peels back fast!

Ah-ha! this was the ticket! I squeezed just slightly tighter the top tube and it's holding nice and firmly now!
I wasn't going to attempt anything with tools, but that's because I was thinking of altering the stick, not the tube holes, but the stick is seriously sturdy and stiff, and was afraid of having to use too much force! this took just a gentle squeeze!

you mean it'll probably shift back into it's rounder shape? I'll see how it holds up for now- it won't get too much heavy use, I wear all my stuff occasionally in rotation so hopefully that'll prevent it from shifting back too fast =)

maybe not round...but over time the softer metal might loosen it's grip...........
