Does anyone know anything about this urn shape vase piece. The pattern is called "Blue Onion", but it's one of those patterns made by dozens of different companies. I believe Meissen was the originator but, unmarked, this isn't Meissen. Could be a waste bowl - an adjunct to a tea set.

How big is it? Sugar bowl, waste bowl, or planter.

Thanks for the pattern ID, I've seen it before.

It looks like it is a brand new vase from a decorator store.

Wasn't Blue Onion also know as Blue Danube?
