Is this hallmark genuine?

Hi everyone, got a question about a ring I purchased at the auction recently. It's a nice vintage gold ring. I was told it's 14K gold ring but upon inspection I noticed it doesn't have a standard UK hallmark but this (attached). I can see "585" which means the gold is supposed to be 14K, but the letter B and a symbol of what appears to me to be a queen don't mean anything to me. Any ideas? Is this hallmark genuine?

Now that I've looked = better possibility is Latvia. What is the number?

I don't know about the cat, but the letter B is used as one of the letters in the Assay Supervision Inspection Codes, used i Russia since May 7, 1958.
B is: Settlement Krasnoe on the Volga, Kostroma inspection of assay supervision.
