Featured Chinese Ginger Jar

My husbands uncle gave our daughter two Ginger Jars he collected during the time he lived in Hong Kong and I would like to know their worth. My daughter was considering selling these two Ginger Jars but we have no idea what they are worth. We have hardly seen anything like these two except in auction houses selling for quite a bit of money. I figured its probably Famille Verte from 19th century but I am definately no expert. I would appreciate it if anyone could tell me a little about them and what value they have.

 

The orientation of the mark should be rotated 90 degrees clockwise (so the pointy part now pointing to the left would be pointing down

I believe this mark is in Gotheborg about half way through the Chinese list.

 

You have listed them on ebay already, so why are you asking?

Yes, she put them up a couple of days ago hoping to get a little extra pocket money for the school holidays but she had a few immediate offers which made me think that they may have some value. We don’t want her to be ripped off and for them to be bought way under value. She has no use for them and my husbands uncle is happy for her to sell them as he has no use for them anymore either.
