Miniaturegegenstande is German for miniature item :)

    (I looked it up :))

I oct4mail.jpg oct3mail.jpg wbrac1.mail.jpg found another two marks, on one of the bracelets. They are very hard to read, one is especially blurry but I get the impression they are ladies in profile. So small my phone camera won't get very close!

The closest I could find for the one on the right is a "guaranty mark" for Paris, 1819-1838. If it IS French then the really blurry one should be the Paris Hallmark for the same time period for 800 silver objects. I make no "guaranty" that this is what you have. ;)

You can see what I saw on this page. Scroll down to the 1819-1838 period.

AJ - Is that a page in Tardy? Could you see what is findable in it for Darkwing's latest post?

It is from the German version of Jan Divis, but I have Tardy as well. Divis has clearer pictures, Tardy more info.
You're right, Scouts, Miniaturegegenstände means miniature items, or very small items. Filigree could be classed as such, given the weight and small surface to be marked.

I'll look through both Divis and Tardy to see if I can find something similar, but the marks on the clasp are difficult to discern. The type of clasp is later than 1819-1838, imo.

Thanks, AJ. I had seen that one at some point in my search and don't remember now why I thought the French one was closer. :wacky: Tired eyes.

Brava AJ! And all of you! This info will help me get these sold properly. The poor lady who owns all this had to downsize and move to a smaller home, then her husband passed away within a month. I haven't been able to catch a break on eBay sales for her. You are all angels!

Some interest was expressed in seeing these up at auction so here is the link. https://www.ebay.com/sch/darkwingmanor1/m.html_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= eBay Seller darkwingmanor1 , if that link doesn't work, it looks a little squirrely from here! I still have the earrings and three smallest bracelets to list, but the nicer pieces are up. Constructive criticism welcomed! Thank you again for all your help! Tina
