German Stein

    Help please. I've had this for about 45 years but have never researched.
    This stein does not have a lithopane in the bottom. It feels more pottery than porcelain. Wondering if anyone has knowledge of these steins. IMG_0472.jpg IMG_0474.jpg

    these Reservistenkrüge were originally bought at the end of the time of service as Reservists in the kaiserlichen Armee. they passed their time with beer drinking and pipesmoking.
    after 1918 the system of differing between the active army that was always ready to attack and the Reserve that was only fighting actively when needed, was completely deleted.
    90 % of these steins are later copies.
