    Hi
there I am again and need your help again with these two pieces

1st is a bracelet. it has a modern radiation. no idea if there should be stones in the middle round pieces .... I thought it was metal but it is not magnetic. ....I know that silver is not magnetic but what other materials are not magnetic and silver colored...I have absolutely no idea...so any info on this is very welcome. furthermore i think this bracelet is marked 3 x.... i think i see 825... a leaf and ..something else... but maybe i'm imagining...

2nd is a brooch in the sense of a key. i think it is a sovernier from france and think notre dame is depicted on it. Is it marked (last 2 pics) what do you think? is it an old brooche or modern.. is it a mass produced souvernier or custom?

    thaads for looking 20211214_221400_copy_907x1612.jpg 20211214_221341_copy_907x1612.jpg 20211214_221818-0_copy_960x432.jpg 20211214_221643_copy_1612x907.jpg 20211214_172631-0_copy_960x432.jpg 20211214_172643-0_copy_960x432.jpg 20211214_172734-0_copy_960x432.jpg 20211214_172847-0_copy_960x432.jpg .

perhaps important to mention the inside of the bracelet is shiny, just like the middle pieces, but the outside is dull. and I looked closely and I see small scratches or peeled off pieces (see the pic) . it can't be silver, can it? 20211214_224805-0_copy_432x960.jpg

The bracelet has a sterling mark(3d photo, left side) The peeling bit could be rhodium coating; they add it to prevent tarnish.

ANd the brooch is 1910s or 20s. The hinge again.

. Is only the glinstering parts coated with rhodium? And any idea what the other symbols are? Is it from 60-70 or much later?

I can't see the rest from here. I tried. The shiny stuff is probably rhodium; it's used to give white gold or silver (or other metal) a hard white finish.

Nice bracelet, Hi. A later Modernist style.
I wonder if the cupped discs once held stones and the peeling you see is actually glue peeling off.
If you have alcohol, you could put some on a wad of cotton (watje) and try to rub the peeling stuff off. It won't hurt the silver.

And I agree, the Reims brooch is a ca 1920s souvenir. The key to the city.:playful:

Tank you AnyJewelery. I tried with alcohol but it won't go away. but the marks have become more visible. I now clearly see 925 in an oval and on the other side a leaf shape with number 10 or letter g in it. middle part has not become more readable. since this is where the clasp is, I'm going to assume that it's just scratches instead of markings. anyone who recognizes leaf shape?

That is a Dutch weight stamp. If it is a 10, your bracelet should be 50 grams.

I always call those shapes 'sigarenbandjes',;) because there is also a Dutch leaf shape, an oak leaf for gold.
