    Hello again everyone :)

This one is one of my favorites. Pictures don't do justice how beautiful this vase is. Got it from Sweden from a small local antique shop. Can't find anything like this. It is VERY heavy and height about 21,5 cm (8.5 inches). No signature or marks on the bottom :(

Any help is highly appreciated

    Erik

My first thought is that it is Scandinavian... there are lots of companies that make glass that looks like "ice".

Swedish - Nybro, Bergdala, Kosta Burda, Orrefors, Reijmyre and Eneryda Glasbrod
    and Finnish - ittalia
for starters... you might check out their websites...
    Good luck!
Hard to track down glass with no marks!

I don't think this is just any old glass, it looks like crystal to me - is it crystal, Erik ?

Tapio Wirkkala comes to mind. The free appraisal folks at Bonhams and Sotheby's would probably know.

Well, you are right. I am pretty sure it is crystal. Not sure how many %, but definitely some sort of crystal. :)

I'd also try the Scandinavian glass Facebook group. It's certainly lead crystal and looks Scandi to me.

I did not realize that there IS a Scandinavian glass facebook group! I'll have to go look for that!

There's some very decent glass groups on Facebook. Some have retired makers, which is very cool.
