I have an old Noritake set from my great x3 Grandmother and I’m not sure how old it is or anything about it. I was hoping someone on here would know more than me!

Welcome Nicholas. The mark is for Noritake Morimura Bros. Says Made in Japan so after 1921. Looks 1940s to me.

Unless you are an infant, this set cannot be from your 4th great grandmother.

Nicholas, you may find that family stories can be exaggerated.

For example, one day my sister asked me if I had the photo of our father taken with JFK. I told her I did, but it was taken by the Washington Post, a speech in the Rose Garden with my father in the audience of business men. No one-on-one there ;)

In any case it's still a nice set. knowing how many and what pieces would determine value.

I inherited items from my grandmother that she bought at auctions when in her 60's. They were hers but she didn't own them long.

But she also wasn't your 4th Great Grandmother.

What? Let's split the difference and say the OP's 4th great--make that 3rd great-- was already 60 or even older in 1930. He never said she was born the same year the dishes were made.
