It was searching that title that took me to the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco. They have a Washburn print of that name, but it's an entirely different image.

I suspect their listing is in error, but that is where I found the "Spring Showers" print linked earlier.

FAMSF was asking: "Something amiss? Suggest an edit." You might want to point those found out to them. And they might be able to provide additional information such as location.

FAMSF has over 100 of his works. I looked through them. That one is the same but different.

@Lithographer I sent some pictures to Clars auction house. I don't use them but just to see what they say.
" Washburn prints are at a low right now and estimate would be $200."
Bunch of bull. I've already been offered more than that.

Do you know where the setting is? (He appears to have traveled and painted widely.) That might effect value.

Not yet. I'll have to find the original again. Maybe there is a clue there.

He apparently worked and reworked the subject again and again. This is 'Dusk.'

Plowing on the harbor had to be the original painting that he created all the etchings from. Thanks for posting all the examples Debora.

If someone has offered you more than that, I would take it. My estimate based on my research was $200-$250. There were not many comps. available, it is possible that the subject matter of your print is more desirable and would bring a premium. You also have to considered that you would be saving the auction house fee by selling directly to a buyer.
