Snagged this beautiful 10" Octagon plate for a song at my favorite thrift.
My research tells me this is called the Florida pattern 1925.
But not sure if it is called Chintz?
It is in excellent condition and couldn't believe it is that old.

Someone named Konstan Proff did a couple of similar patterns very recently, but he was more likely "inspired by" than "source of":

I think yours is more complex.

    That's a beautiful pattern @Bakersgma .
I agree with you on Chintz. Although every one I have found in this pattern they were called chintz.

Well, like I said, others may call yours chintz, although that was not my first thought because the flowers are so large and there are birds.

Yep. Even Replacements described it as such.

In the china world, I would call that chintz, and so would collectors I believe, even if it is not technically a full, all over floral pattern.
    It's a beautiful plate.

Replacements call it "Blue Chintz" with a black border. "Florida" pattern is not the shame shape. It is oblong like a tray with three curves on each end. It is a beautiful pattern.

Florida is the pattern of the print, not the shape of the item.
