I found this violin at a local thrift store Friday. I almost put it back because I didn't see any markings or labels on the inside, but while looking at the back I thought I saw HOPE stamped at the top and when I googled HOPE violin KOPH came up.
And when I looked at Koph violins I was amazed at the prices being asked for one!!

Is there a way to tell if mine is real and not a knock off/copy? And if it is real how do you tell how old it is with no label?

As always thank you for your help!

Thank you - I might be dyslexic because I knew it was Hope but typed Koph!
Thanks again for correction & link for hos to tell a copy - going to check it out now!

I just saw it says Hope not Hoph - but this one was done by the spell check!
