I did a quick surf around the antiques fair and local charity shops this morning.
A few nice bits and pieces.

I thought these were amethyst but I’m wondering if they are dyed quartz, haven’t got round to testing them yet.

More quartz I think.


Forstner sterling brooch , sadly engraved so scrap and my best find, the gold earrings! I spotted the omega backs ( Thankyou whoever told me to look out for those @Ownedbybear or @Any Jewelry, as potentially sign of quality. You were right 18k for 50p!

I'd say KSW gets the prize today! I spent $20 on a few random bits and came home early to be told "nope" on money I should be eligible for but am not.

Fifties, I hope. On a good day. Got a piece with a mystery mark. Found its twin on Worthpoint, but the seller didn't know who it was either.

Every day is a learning day! I suspect they are dyed though rather than natural purple.

Rose quartz, a beautiful stone with a gentle look.
Imo underrated in the West (due to inexplicable ideas of fashion) but much loved by the Chinese.

 

I do like that dog, and I'm a cat person.

 

It has a sort of Lea Stein look, but her dachshunds are different.

 

I thought that too. I've a bangle or two with similar dogs. Not Stein.
