I know it’s most probably classed as vintage rather than antique but Id prefer asking on this forum than anywhere else.

    The bottle on the side says

    “J & E.ATKINSON
    24 OLD BOND ST
    LONDON’

    On the base it says
    ‘ REGISTERED TRADEMARK’
    And a logo between the two words.

    Does anyone know what it was used for? Or maybe how old it is? Or pretty much any information someone may know so I can do some research.

    The measurements are
    H
    W
    L

    Thank you for your help.

    According to this document:
    Unilever archives-->

    "...in 1829 the business moved from Soho to 39 Bond Street, and in 1832 moved again to elegant premises at the highly fashionable address of 24 Old Bond Street. In 1831 James Atkinson's brother, Edward, became a partner in the firm, from which time the company became known as J & E Atkinson. "

    and further:

    "In 1896 J & E Atkinson Ltd was incorporated. James Atkinson had died the previous year, and in 1897 Horace Barrett, son of Eugene, entered the firm. The business was operating at this time from three separate premises: an export factory at St Katherine's Dock, London; a factory for the home trade in Covent Garden; and 24 Old Bond Street where most of the manufacture was carried out. "

    There's nothing to say that they didn't still have a surplus of bottles marked, "J & E Atkinson" to get rid of after 1896, but this should give you a little insight, in terms of time periods. Wait for the glass experts, as I am not one of them.
