    Hi Davey,
Nice stove and surround. I bet might that weighted a lot. I bought one years ago thought it was painted walnut with 20+ coats of paint. Turns out to be black slate with 5 coats of paint. Started to strip it and it turns out to be in nine pieces. Much easier to strip. Took a gallon of plaster of paris to put it together again. Once it was oiled and polished it was a stunning piece. I miss during stuff like that but I am in no condition to move stuff like that around.

On the right is a pine piece to go behind the couch. I had a junky piece there I bought for $5 and stripped 20 years ago, I finally found something I liked to take its place.

On the left is our best find, our sweet 14-year-old dog Tenzie :)

She's a good girl. She is a rescue dog, we got her through PAWS, they brought her up from a kill shelter in Tennessee when she was a baby :)

Here is what I got today, just don't know what is was used for...
It is in copper, a pot with a lid and with a zinc recipient inside, about 38 cm high.
    Bottle cooler.....?

Not for the first time I have wondered if we shouldn't take up a collection & get a membership that provides access to contributors. It's not fair to those who have paid to give the rest of us this type of info for free. I couldn't find out what it costs for the Worthopedia feature.

Googley is becoming such a morass of tripe that off the cuff , on 1st look.....i don't trust it untill I can back up what I see by other examples..... on the net...or in books !!

It's not Google's fault that so much of what is on the Internet was put there by pork butchers.

Well......we do give of our time & expertise here for free 100% of the time.....& Worthpoint subscribers are not....obliged .... to give out prices.......

That ...and buying a membership......would be used by some.... incessantly ....& by others infrequently..... so how would that be fair ??:rolleyes::rolleyes:
