Featured CZ Large Link Bracelet - Makers' Mark?

CZ has a very high 'refractive index', which makes it very glittery, like good diamonds. Another possibility here is Swarovski crystal.

 

Way to large at 9” to wear... I would remove or keep the opening link clasp, slide a nice ribbon and attaching with an arty bow at the back of the neck and you’ll have an outstanding choker

 

Yes. I agree. I try to buy American made things, when they are available but that doesn't always mean it wasn't produced in a sweat shop somewhere. The resale shop gets so much stuff that they don't always have time to research it, and price it whether they like it or not. Thanks for the link. This is probably where they copied it from.

 

I'm going to give it a good wash but it already sparkles in the sun. I am trying to decide whether to wear it as nicer costume or just cheap costume. I appreciate your differentiations, though, as that gives me more places to search. Thank you.

 

Or you can wear it as something you want to wear at the time.

 

I have very small wrists, so I generally wear my bracelets on the outside of my clothes. I haven't tried this on yet, but I like your idea of converting it.

 

Well there is always that. I don't have anything to pair it with, but I do wear black turtle necks as casual dress up, which will show it off nicely.

We're a dangerous bunch! I think some designer must have done a piece like that, and costume makers all over the place made knockoffs - slightly different to keep lawsuits at bay. I have one kicking around somewhere with pave rhinestone links but a toggle clasp.

 

You surely are. I've been landed hook line and sinker. I think @kyratango found the original designer. Since I don't have $24,900 for a bracelet, I have to settle for a costume piece.

This is definitely what I would consider good costume. Would be fun to wear at every opportunity.

Why do you have to be dressed up? Beautiful jewelry whether it is real or costume looks good with everything!! That is why I wear my Roberto Coin bracelet all the time regardless of whether I am wearing jeans or capris.



The construction of mine is similar but the clasp link does not come off. It has a spring hinge in the last link on the right.

I know these are not supposed to be diamonds in yours but they sparkle just like the real thing & I have always believed that diamonds go with everything!!!
