Unknown Chinese Porcelain Marks

    I normally check Gotheburg to find Chinese or Japanese porcelain marks but the website appear to be not working.

    Therefore I would appreciate any help determining the marks on a cup and saucer that I recently picked up at a charity shop Vintage Chinese Cup and Small Plate-2.jpg Vintage Chinese Cup and Small Plate-6.jpg Vintage Chinese Cup and Small Plate-6.jpg Vintage Chinese Cup and Small Plate-7.jpg Vintage Chinese Cup and Small Plate-2.jpg Vintage Chinese Cup and Small Plate-6.jpg Vintage Chinese Cup and Small Plate-7.jpg

    Definitely something weird going on with Gotheborg. Note says the site expired in 2007.

    I agree, I saw the reference to 2007 and thought the same myself. Either he has not renewed his website subscription or packed it in. Would tend to believe it is the former. Hope so anyway, a great source of information

    Modern, Decorative Japanese Cup/Mug and Saucer/side plate. Quite modern.

    She is a little Javanese Serimpi dancer, from a 1920-25 Dutch portfolio on Javanese dances. It combines two art forms I like, uhm three actually: Javanese art, dance, and Art Deco.:happy:
