Featured Plaster or chalk ware Bookend? Beautiful Girl

    These thinks keep speaking to me from across the room and calling me to buy them lol.
    I couldn't resist this face. She is just about 10" tall and solid almost 3 lbs. I was thinking bookend because of the flat unfinished back? but could be just for being up against a wall or mantle?

    Could be a pale imitation after Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, who produced exceptional child busts in the 18th C.

    (Another name in the same field is Louis-Claude Vassé.)

    She is sweet but think the hair decoration is an unneeded addition. Also, think she's be too big to be a bookend.
