Glassies: Victorian? Hand painted pitcher & glasses set

This may be a shot in the dark ;-) Looking for confirmation and possible maker of this hand painted, Victorian? Pitcher & glasses set. Satin green with bubbles.The pitcher stands 10" high and the glasses are 3 3/4" tall. There is a burst bubble inside near the top.

 

I would say newer than Victorian. The painting is barely god enough to see it as a flower. My reaction was gay fad but nothing to support that. The Victorians thrgh the 20s wanted more realistic detailed decoration..

 

Thanks George. The flowers were what was really throwing me off. They are nothing like what I'm used to seeing.

 

I'm rather with George. My guess would be a transitional lemonade set form sometime after the Victorian era but before gay fad really took off. Could be hobbyist painted?

I would think earlier based on the satin glass finish - 30's maybe? Before the tomato juice and orange juice crowd moved to the smaller pitchers and glasses.

Since it is hand painted, there is the possibility that it is an older set that someone bought and painted.

1980s - 90s tole painting, then other painting became very popular.
The design seems too simplistic for older decoration.

Not saying that is what it is. Just another idea.

@Cherryhill - do you recognize the tumblers?

 

Nope, not a clue. The color is NOT 19th century. Some of the paint's chipped, probably not fired on, who knows if it's professional. Probably not. The green color's funny, I wonder if the color is sprayed on...

 

Hi Tom, The glass is green that has been satinized. The tumblers are very thin with a 2 3/4" diameter. The white outlines and brown stems are enamel I believe. I can feel all of it.
