You know that feeling where everybody else feels dead

I said to the girl behind the counter "oh it's the first time I've heard it this year"

And she says " not for me, it's on repeat"

Ditto. The stamps/punches can be bought by anyone in a number of stores and even online. Which means even you or I can use them.
And it is a beautiful stone, but....:(
    Absolutely!
There is no proof it is tribal made, so no. It is a SW buckle.
I am a member there, as are some of the others here. The answer will be the same as here: Without a mark or recognizable style which is exclusive to a specific older period maker or store (before large scale marking), there is no way of knowing.
Which means it can only be sold as 'Southwestern style'. Never Navajo, NA, tribal or other allusions to an NA origin.
Unmarked is unmarked to any eye on any forum.

IMO they’re not. As already stated, different mines have similar veins and different veins appear in the same mine. IMO one should never attribute without direct confirmation from the smith and then it’s still questionable unless you know they know the source which IMO is still hearsay.

Buckles are jewelry and belong here. No way to know if the buckle is Navajo or Anglo with Navajo style stamping and with a cracked stone it has significantly decreased value.

    The buckle is Vintage Southwestern.

Standing up screamingly for Yoko-she certainly wasn’t a Beatle or a musician but she is a brilliant performance artist who will hold her place in art history as a member of Fluxus.

Thanks everyone for all the Help! When I saw this piece Yesterday, the price was right and even though it wasn't marked, I Got a Feeling that I could narrow down its specifics With a Little Help From My Friends here. Though I don't know much about it, I'm starting to get into turquoise, no matter which I Me Mine it comes from...

I adore Persian and Afghan turquoise. The depth of blue is astonishing.

That was the first thing I thought, in my innocence.:angelic::hilarious:
Let's agree he though she was a girl from the (Sac and) Fox Nation, very Navajo looking and wearing Navajo dress and jewellery.:) Just so we don't have to worry.
