2 Similar paintings but signatures look different - same artist?

I found these today at a thrift store - I thought they were by the same artist because of the cloud like / wispy look of both, but when I got home I noticed the signatures appear different? (Don't ask me why; I saw they were only $20 each & assumed by their look that they were by the same person & I liked them so I didn't even check the signatures - not the first time!)

Do you think these are by different artists or even worse - factory paintings that were painted and signed randomly? (the canvas appears different like they weren't painted at the same time?)

I think these are factory paintings with similar colors, perhaps even produced at the same time.
