Featured Buffalo? Horn carving

    Hello

    Please help me ID this bird carving, it's a step up from the usual horn pieces I see, and mounted on a nice wooden base.

    Probably buffalo horn, but I'm not certain. 19cm tall.

    And buffalo in the sense of water-buffalo; not the American Bison.
