Featured Is this small oil lamp really from the 1890s?

Found this little oil lamp and when trying to find out more about it I came across an auction listing with an identical lamp that claims its from the 1890s. Is there a way to tell?

 

let's see the base and close in pics of any marks on the metal workings..

 

I didnt see any markings on the bottom but the metal does say P&A Hornet.

In the picture where you hold it in your hand we can get an idea of the size, but it would be nice for people trying to ID it if we had measurements.

Measurements are 9 1/4" H to top of shade, 4 1/4" H to top of collar, 3" D foot

I just didn't think it likely that 2 of the same lamp from the 1890s was still around.

 

I didn't think so either...then the internet......and poof...all the shit that we thought was rare.....unfindable .....one of a kind......only one I've ever seen....
