Seed Pearl pendant

    Bought this today from a Charity shop. 16 ins long, pendant 1 inch long. I knew it wasn’t gold or a ruby(glass) but the pearls looked real and are.
    I’ve not come across real seed pearls in a brass/copper and whatever the white metal is on the back setting before. Has anyone else? Seems a lot of fiddly effort and these pearls are normally set in gold, any thoughts please anyone? Thanks.

    I wasn’t sure if that was repair solder or what the cross mark was about. It is a bit of mystery……
