Really love this last lot won at auction : )

Need help dating these please although, I don't have a pic of the back of the pin and I'm unaware of what its markings/hallmarks might be. I think the materials and details are amazing in this tiny 1-inch pin. I'm thinking the center pearl and setting were added later (possible repair for lost garnet)? Will update with a back photo and any marks when it arrives.

For now, what would you date the earrings? I'm thinking 40s, 50s? Also wondering what style and would you say, American or other? Always thanks Everyone : )

Earrings measure .75"/19mm, clips marked STERLING T2- will see if there's a mark on the back of earrings soon, blue stones were sold as glass- will test when I get them home.

Update- I'm not happy the seller shipped all three pieces in a zip-lock bag together.
An earring stone has a broken tip and as well, one of the pin's stones is cracked. So sad- the little pin is marked 800 and I especially like it.

    I've begun the return process.

(sigh) Darnitt. A nice little pin and the seller does THAT.

Did you talk to them? Sometimes it pays to talk to seller before starting a formal return. They may offer you to keep the pieces at a reduced price if you wish to. Sometimes they will even give them to you if they don’t have a lot invested rather than paying return shipping. I’ve had this happen as a buyer and I’ve done it as a seller. I think it pays to talk first in most cases. Worst case scenario you can always do the formal return if talking doesn’t go well.

I ship mine in tissue and a taped-shut plastic Easter Egg. Never had a piece break in transit yet.
