I was just at an estate sale last weekend, and there were a ton of old tea cups and saucers in exc condition. Can anyone give me any insight as to what is desirable & what is not? It's a little bit overwhelming. Are there any brands or styles, types to look out for? Trying to gain more insight for picking. TIA

Don't have any teacup knowledge, but what I would do is search on eBay for "(Vintage, Antique), tea cup", look at the sold listings and sort highest price first. That's my general solution for categories I want to quickly assess. Hope this helps! - Joe

Search eBay sold results to get an idea.

Paragon, Aynsley, and Shelley are all up there, but you have to know which patterns and periods.

It's never as easy as it seems.

Good advice above. Check Completed eBay listings first to see what supply is and then Sold eBay listings to see what demand is.

    I agree with the others.
Cabbage Rose pattern on some tea cups are $$$$
Some butterfly and flower handles on tea cups are $$$
