    Hi

I am trying to find out a little but more info into the history of this antique jug that features an elephant against a tree trunk. Would anyone happen to know anything about the mark on the bottom that reads No25 England? Any additional info would be very useful also.

    Many thanks

There is no spout so I'm not sure it would be called a "jug." What is its size? Appears to be a toothpick holder but, of course, size will determine.

Elephant toothpick holders seem to be a thing. A Google Internet search will bring up many. Here's an example.

Often spills here. It's 30s ish, and god knows who. Might be Beswick, they did a lot of black glazes.
