Signature on pottery bird

    Hi, This little bird with a candle stuck in its tail looks Scandinavian modern to me, but I can't figure out the signature on the base. Can anyone help? It measures about 4.5" high and could also be used as a vase if I remove the round candle birdpotterycandleholder.JPG birdpotterycandleholderc.JPG birdpotterycandleholderb.JPG . Thanks!

    Other than the V, the letters look Greek: epsilon; phi; delta.
