    kyratango Bug jewellery addiction!

    I bought this beauty on French EBay, needed to be in hand to see what I could do to the damage...
    80€:shame:
    Diameter : 10,2 CM
    Depth : 3 CM

    As I saw the painting was present where the damage on front is, I went to gently cracking the yellowed varnish tiny flakes by tiny flakes at a time, with.... a butter knife:hilarious:

    The other parts, after test, tended to detach with the varnish...

    So, after googling, I went for aceton on Q-tips, YAY! Good way to work:)

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    My brain is still a bit addled at times.....so was that just aged and cracking varnish on top of the images, please @kyratango ?? If so, your clean-up job is amazing!!!!!!!!!!
