I almost didn't go to a local thrift store early today - Miami is having it's rare, low humidity & cool weather fall days and it's perfect sleeping weather! - but I woke up automatically and the urge to see what might have come in grew (it's an addiction!), so I went ahead & drove to the thrift (a friend is a manager and as long as they are unloading trucks he lets me come in early & I get to see/pick first anything good that I like).
I am so glad I went early today! Below are some of the pieces I bought - these all came from the same home/donation.

    Imagine what they kept!!

1st are two Alexander Calder exhibition posters - I think both are from France exhibitions.
Next is a Richard Avedon MOMA exhibition poster 'Dovima with Elephants'

Next are ones I need help with please:

An unusual Coca Cola poster that I've never seen before - can anyone tell me anything about it?

A cool surreal painting that I really like, but when I google the name Kinloch or Kinlock I don't see anything like it - who is the artist?

Finally a piece I thought was a Erte at first look but on the back it has a short bio of someone named Elaine from Florida, but there is no last name & googling Elaine artist Florida - brings up a lot of possibilities! Is this a listed/known artist who only uses her first name?

Thanks for any help/information and I hope you enjoy seeing my finds today!
PS - The Calder & Richard Avedon posters are from the 1970's - is the Coca cola that early too?
    Thanks again for any help!

your other poster looks like a museum gift shop item back in the 70s. The oil painting looks to be signed kinloch not finding anything on that artist. The florida artist just looks to be known in florida not widely known.

The Avedon poster is from his 1978 exhibit at The Met (not MOMA.)

Elaine does appear to be a local artist, and one strongly influenced (as you can see) by Erté.

That price is why I don't do auctions - I do Buy it Now with a best offer option.
The last Calder I had (it was like a seahorse if I remember) I accepted a offer for $600 I think.
I paid $150 for everything so if I don't get a decent offer I'll keep it - they will draw people to a yard sale posting or to a booth

Bear in mind that L’affichiste is a Canadian gallery and prices are in Canadian dollars. Also a real gallery has significant overhead.

And, of course, it's an asking price. Doesn't mean it finds a buyer.

I went back and reviewed the thread for your Seahorse. I found nothing to indicate that it was ever issued as a fine art art print. It existed as an exhibition poster. Upon examination of your photos, it appears that someone created a deckled edge by tearing the paper. The design on the poster was one of 80 that he created for tapestries. I couldn’t find it as a fine art print on the Calder website. For curiosities sake I will dig around and see what I can come up with.

If it was 1 of 80 by Calder may be that's why I got a good price for it (on eBay I'm pretty sure)
    Thank you

Any thoughts on the Kinloch painting or name? That's surreal right?
I like it (probably because it's different!)
