Tobacco box markings in foreign language

    I bought this silver box from a thrift store recently. It is non-ferrous and could be silver plated with copper underneath. Its dimensions are approximately 5.5 X 3.5 X 1.5". It depicts 2 Indian , or mid-eastern people dancing. There are markings on the bottom in a foreign language. Does anyone have any information on this item? Origin, purpose, material, and/or value? It is pictured below, with additional pictures attached to this thread
