Need help identifying Silver cigarette/snuff box.

I bought this silver box from a thrift store recently. It is non-ferrous and could be silver plated with copper underneath. Its dimensions are approximately 5.5 X 3.5 X 1.5". It depicts 2 Indian or mid-eastern people dancing. There are markings on the bottom in a foreign language. Does anyone have any information on this item? Origin, purpose, material, and/or value? It is pictured below, with additional pictures attached to this thread

Nice, may be silver. Agree with AJ, looks Thai (Siamese) to me as well.

 

Agree for Thaïland, feel it being rather end 50s, the reliefs are rather low

That's Khmer script, so it was made in Cambodia. If it's not marked for silver, it could be silver plated. Early to mid 20th century.
