    Hey folks!

Bought this really lovely teapot, now trying to identify the maker and anything about it.
I think NS in this case stands for nickel silver, but what does 40KT mean? Anyone can identify the maker and when it was made? There are some marks inside the pot as well.
It's probably not worth anything, but I still think it's a pretty teapot :)

Thank you so much in advance,
    Erik

    Very nice.
The teapot in nickel silver has been stamped by Carl Robert Carlström in Uppsala north of Stockholm. His company for nickel silver items, one of the larger ones, started in 1857 and was sold in 1930.
The teapot probably from around 1900.
    I can't explain 40 KT.

There seems to be gilding in some of the designs. Any chance that the KT refers to that?

Thank you The swede so much :)

I searched Google for hours and can't figure out what the 40KT means...

    A correction about C R Carlström Nysilverfabrik.

The factory was located in Stockholm, not in Uppsala.

A slightly larger coffee pot had the same maker's mark, but under stood 50 KT. It seems that it is some kind of model number because the larger pot is marked 50.

KT is still a mystery, but has nothing to do with gilding.
