Why do people sell things which someone has obviously painstakingly chosen for them?

I had to rehome this poor waif.

Better that it’s with someone who appreciates it :) The blue is stunning!

It was waiting for you. It's the sort of thing I bring home and remake, but I'm an addict.

I suspect the maker had remade, if that makes sense, it's got that feel. The two silver bordered bits are a fossil stone, which is neat. And the blue is very fine.

Same seller also sold me a really nice coat, just in time for the heatwave....

The maker is one Shelly Ann Mol, who seems to be in South Africa, makes sense.

I am so happy to see my creation that I made in 2017 finding a wonderful new home: what ever the journey may have been, glad it will be loved again! I hope you will enjoy wearing it - I make each piece unique based on the combination of gemstones and upcycled/recycled African glass beads, with hand-knotting. Sending you love & blessings, Shelly-Ann Mol, London https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/shellyannmol (I do not know how to attach photos, as I'm new to this page, but this is my eBay profile where I originally sold the necklace 3 or so years ago)

    Hi Shelley!

How very splendid to meet the creator. It is indeed not going anywhere, I like it immensely. I love the turquoise especially.

Photos: no more than a meg in size, just drag and drop.

Hi there, apologies, if I mess up this reply. The blue stone was a Jasper - sea sediment with a little dye enhancement I think. I loved that they were all raw flat slabs, so laid them next to each other to create the pendant feature. Shelly xx

Hi there! Thanks - I tried for ages, in the late hours to upload my original (very large Meg) pics only to realise the size max. I am glad to have discovered this forum though, because I have a community jewellery group and we have recently got our hands on some vintage carved Jade and Venetian beads that I will need help identifying. Good to learn. Thank you so much. Shelly xx

YUM! These I gotta see! To resize from a phone, email to yourself size Medium. From a real computer, download some photo editing software CNET or another reputable source. I use Ifanview. Takes a little getting used to if you weren't raised on a keyboard, but it does everything I need it to.

Oops - Irfanview. I've done the phone thing once or twice, but not often. Works from a tablet too if needed. Save to Downloads and off you go. Might even work from a PC but resizing is easier. We usually recommend 600x800 if you get a choice because that's guaranteed to work and uploads quickly.

You can also resize in Windows photo viewer. If you right click, you get the option: take it down to 40 percent, it will work fine.
