Featured Rockford Furniture Co.

    I’m trying to find out what year this Rockford Cabinet Co Furniture is from. My Aunt just always told me it was “over 100 years old”. It is in fantastic condition, most likely because nobody was ever allowed to use it!

    Welcome, Englishrose! Nice suite! I'm wondering, though, whether the headboard actually matches the case furniture. Can you post a better lit picture of it?

    I'm sure our furniture guru @verybrad will have comments.

    English furniture is not really my forte' but would think Edwardian or just a tad later.... so just a bit over 100 years old. Nice flame mahogany veneered fronts.

    English? OP says this came from Rockford Cabinet Co - Rockford, Illinois, no?

    It’s not English, came from Rockford Furniture Co.

    LOL! …. most likely. Took OPs name Englishrose to mean she is in England. Kind of missed the Rockford furniture Co. info and focused on the photos.

    Either way, it is probably 20th century, pre WWI. A quick search tells me they changed their name to Lindstrom Cabinet company in 1926 or 27.
