Possible value of this Starr piece?

    A recent find, this is a whiskey jug decanter. It is pottery covered in solid silver. Made by Theodore B. Starr. I can not find a similar piece, any ideas on possible value? TIA

    Dundas Pottery was a Scottish company from 1828 to 1932. Starr was an American silver company from 1862 to 1923.

    The Volstead Act (prohibition) went into effect in January 1920, so probably pre-dates that.

    Maybe it came out at that time. Maybe it's like a drinker's equivalent to bronzed baby shoes - sentimental after their final crock.
