Is this a test? Is "nose" a clue? It says Winchester Trade Mark. So something to do with guns, a gauge of some sort? Barrel? Ammo?
That's the Winchester Rifle Company mark for sure. Right font and everything. I still have no idea what it is, but kids' feet aren't the answer.
