A friend of mine recently obtained this vase from a house clearance and asked me for help in trying to identify the mark. I have searched Gotheburg without any success and was wondering if any member(s) could shed light on the mark at the base of the vase.

Apologies for the photos as these were the ones that my friend sent me Chinese Vase-1.jpg Chinese Vase-2.jpg Chinese Vase-3.jpg

It's a stylised form of kanji, so it's not easy to read if you are not familiar with the marks, it says Kinkozan zo (made by Kinkozan). 1930's period Japanese Satsuma pottery, the low quality is due to the financial troubles in Japan at the time, and the lack of interest in the West by this time in the style.
