Native American 3" painted clay figures

    These look very old and was wondering if anyone has seen these before?
    Both are 3 1/2" tall solid red clay.

    Could they be Syroco? Faux wood? I've seen others like these.

    I have one bookend that is similar somewhat to yours. Syroco is a good place to look or start.
