Testing out a baby tablet I found for a buck in a rummage sale. Not compatible with most apps I use, but it has a camera and the photos don't have to be resized. The necklaces are some I've made or fixed recently. (The red one.) IMG_20211013_220319.JPG IMG_20211013_220115.JPG

The home owner from the latest clearance was a geologist.
Among other things I pulled out around a half tonne of rocks, crystals and fossils from the upstairs of the derelect part of the property.
I had to work hard to get them out but I now have an instant collection and I was paid to take them.

Here is just a fraction of what I recovered.

If the belemnites were opalized you would have a lot of money.

Well done..Very cool and nice collection. I used to be a amateur ‘rock collector’ when I was much younger (but only had few ‘fossils’) Still have most of my little collection in storage..

Classic ride! Love those. They go for big money now..Many years ago I met a elderly lady that drove a metallic light blue (I think a 450SL) She traded in high end antiques. The car suited her image and ‘profession’ beautifully..

Nice set of wheels; too bad they didn't drive off with you! I went rummaging today and bought onions, a shower curtain liner, sewing stuff, and some jewelry. I needed the shower curtain; mine is disgusting. It was my sister's church; she was helping with the jewelry room. I can't do stairs to well so someone beat me into the room and got the tangle with the gold in it, but I did OK anyway. Got a bag of jewelry boxes! We resellers love finding boxes.

Charity shop. The teeny gold filigree earrings had plastic backs and initially I ignored them but had a thought.. maybe they are gold.
Didn’t see the hallmarks until I got them home where my loupe was. They weigh just over a gram and scrap at around £30. Cost me £1.49 as did the silver roses and pendant which is unmarked.
