Found today: mudman female figure reading. Apparently the women are quite rare? I just ~could not~ resist her face <3 She might go to eBay eventually, see how I feel.

Acrylic on cardboard, £5. I’ll get it sealed and framed some time in the new year.

You are now an antique, or at least a collectible! I have seriously geeky cousins and sooner or later someone will end up with those.

Skipped an estate sale today in favor of a rummage sale. The mohair scarves are already up on eBoo but the barware is all in my trunk. Spent $25 on jewelry including some fake Mexican silver (not unexpected), a fake gold ring (same) and a real gold collar button (unmarked). Got real silver too, including a heavy festoon with greenies. I'll have to get some images up later.

At $avers right now and had to share this. Weirdest Georges Briard glasses I’ve ever seen.
Got two for a buck a piece.

I've read the book! Those are waiting for some Kool-aid, and look like someone drew them while using the Kesey-ized version.

    LOL!
So 8 of them for $1,225!
I only got two so they have to be worth at least $100 a piece or more.

I don't know if you still sell or not, but given that price, I would do auction to see how high (sorry for the pun) the bidding goes for the 2.

Congrats on a super find. Now we all need to find those.

I just looked in my barware book and these also come in tumblers.
According to the book a set of the 14 tumblers sold at Sotheby's in 1993 for $650.00:jawdrop::p:eek:

This is my friends and I after driving the bus from Ward, CO. to Oaxaca and back. We thought about painting the bus all psychedelic like but decided “Cooperstown Bible Camp” would be better in the eyes of the law. Only got pulled over once in Mexico, friendly federales only wanted to see our insurance papers.

Ruth, Culver glass sells well at times and at other times it doesn't. The valenica pattern with the green and gold are the ones that people like it seems. But many others sell.
My grandparents had so much Culver in their possession but way back then I had no idea what it was so it was given away. And they were never used to boot.

    Cool bus there...

Love the bus. The Bible Camp logo was much safer - probably still would be, but these days we're more likely to be using prescription meds than anything interesting. What a drag it is getting old, to quote a band the Pranksters probably didn't spin.
